Thorpe House School in Gerrards Cross continues to be committed to raising money for ELoH. As ever, we are immensely grateful for the support of children, parents and staff – and love hearing about the fun the children have raising money for us – guided as they do with our Trustee, and their teacher, Kathryn Beevor. Virtual presentations were given to all the pupils about the work of the charity recently, including showing them photos of the amputees Kathryn visited in December last year, when she travelled to India to see our children cared for at the Elizabeth Panton Limb Centre in Andrah Pradesh, India. Keen to fundraise again despite COVID restrictions the pupils had fun taking part in an odd sock non-uniform day on Friday 16th October and raised around £500. The school is keen to sponsor an aspect of the amputee programme in India in the future.
Thank you ! (we hope children you’ve managed to pair up your socks now!)
