As always, we love working with schools – Children Raising money for Children – what could be better? Thank you to all the schools who have supported us in so many ways; especially, at the moment a huge thanks to Quainton Hall School in Harrow, who we have been introduced to through our Patron Ian Whybrow (author of lots of children’s books, including Harry and the Bucketful of Dinosaurs, and Rory’s Piratical Leg!)
Founder and Trustee Sarah Hope has visited the school twice, always being made very welcome, and the children are continuing to support us, including with the production of a wonderful calendar that lots of parents have bought:
Pen pal project:
Trustee (and current ELoH manager) Victoria is setting up a pen pal project – which will initially link children from all of our projects with keen letter-writers at her youngest son’s primary school, in Dickleburgh. This is very exciting – and we think it will be a wonderful way to keep ELoH in the minds of the children at the school, who have long been supporters; as well as keeping young minds aware of the very real difficulties and hardships faced by millions of children across the world.
