Riddlesworth School raises money for Elizabeth's Legacy of Hope - helping child amputees walkELoH always seeks to build bridges between the children in the UK and the child amputees in our projects. In December last year, our Chair of Trustees Victoria Panton Bacon visited Riddlesworth Preparatory School. She told the pupils about ELoH’s work with child amputees and her last visit to our projects in Sierra Leone and Liberia.

After the talk, the pupils decided they wanted to raise money for ELoH at their Autumn Fair – and they managed to collect an impressive £1,000. A big cheque was presented to Victoria in February this year and the children had even made their own colourful banner. Victoria was very grateful, she said:

“Thank you so very much to the pupils, parents and staff of Riddlesworth Preparatory School for their very generous support for Elizabeth’s Legacy of Hope. As ever, we love it when children raise money for children.”

And a big thank you from the rest of the ELoH team. Thanks to you, more children will be able to walk and go to school!
