Thank you so very much to Alex Ainley, and his wife Ruth, for hosting another evening of piano and jazz at Edgegrove School, in Radlett, at the beginning of September. Raising over £900 for ELoH’s vital work with child amputees. It was enlightening as it was successful; with Alex telling the audience stories behind each of the piano pieces he played, and about the composers who wrote them.
Ian, Steve and Olly from the Nightingale Jazz Quartet joined Alex after the interval, entertaining a delighted audience with lively playing. It was an inspiring and most enjoyable evening; thank you so much!
