Everyone at ELOH is feeling the “Paralympics Fever” in the run-up to next Wednesday 29th August, when our team of 5 representatives will carry the Paralympic Torch through the streets of London and spread the word about our work.
Inspired by the Paralympic values of equality, courage and inspiration, the team will set off at approximately 6.25 pm on (or very near) Reading Lane in Hackney, E8.
Our team consists of:
- Sarah Hope – Co-Founder
- Victoria Bacon – Co-Founder
- Bronwen Hinton – Trustee
- Jennie Evans – Treasurer
- Pippa Wilkinson – Prosthetics advisor
Please do come along to cheer them on!
Christopher Hope, ELOH Trustee, has written about why carrying the torch packs an extra emotional punch, in the Daily Telegraph here.
