Alex Ainley 2016 website picWe are delighted to announce that Alex Ainley and The Nightingale Jazz Quartet will host another piano and jazz concert for ELoH on the 3rd of September in Radlett, Hertfordshire. Alex is a long-time ELoH supporter and fantastic piano player. He will lead the event which will feature brilliant classical music pieces and jazz tunes. We promise a lot of entertainment and humour and all proceeds will go to ELoH.

Just like last year, Alex is teaming up with The Nightingale Jazz Quartet and they will play all-time jazz wonders including ‘Embraceable You’, ‘A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square’, and ‘What Kind of Fool Am I?’. In addition, Alex will perform a number of lovely piano pieces, such as ‘The Sunken Cathedral’ by Claude Debussy and ‘The Swan’ by Camille Saint-Saens.

The evening will also involve a lot of humour and laughter. Alex is known for taking his audience on an entertaining journey, explaining and unfolding the pieces while making use of his stand-up comedy skills. The event is suitable for all age-groups and we encourage you to bring your children, parents, neighbours and friends.

Tickets are only at £12 and you can buy them here. The event will take place in the Edge Grove School Hall in Radlett. Drinks and snacks available in the bar throughout the evening.

To find out more about the event and the musicians go to the concert website. If you want to hear some samples of Alex’s and The Nightingale Jazz Quartet’s performances visit Alex’s YouTube site.

We hope to see you on the 3rd!
